Types of Music Art ?
Types of Music Art – In Indian “Types of Art”, you have learned that musical art is the best art. In this article we will know how many types of Indian music are there?
1. Classical Music
Classical Music is called that which has regular scripture. It is very important to follow certain rules in classical music. For example, if a Genre is sung, how to sing it, at what speed it is to be sung, it is very important to follow the limits of rhythm etc.
2. Light Music
If we talk about Light Music, then there is no rule in it. It has only one purpose, it should be good to listen.
If we pay attention to the songs of today’s time, it is known that except a few songs, most of the music is in trend. Sometimes raga is also used in this, but the purpose of Light Music is only to make it sound good.
1. Types of Classical Music
- Music Theory – In this we study raga, taal, alap, history of music etc.
- Music Practical – which we can hear and see. For example, singing, Instruments playing can be Hear and dancing can be seen .
Be aware that there are two types of musical art. 1. Classical Music 2. Light Music
Note:- Singing, playing and dancing are collectively called music. In some Countries like America , England etc. Only singing and Instrument Playing is Considered as Music .
2. Types of Light Music
There are three types of LIGHT MUSIC –
1. Film Music / Film Songs
Film Songs – As the name suggests. The song that is used in the movies. The songs used in films are also called Chitrapat Sangeet. Ordinary people like film songs more.
There are some exceptions in this also means a song which despite being a classical song has also been used in the film. Some Songs are in completely classical genre, but it has also been included in the music of the film.
2. FOLK Music / FOLK Songs
FOLK MUSIC / FOLK SONG – In this, traditional songs, songs sung in marriage are considered as Folk song . Rhythm plays an important role in folk music. The words used in it are used very simply and beautifully, as well as attention is paid to keeping it appropriate to the occasion. In these songs, there is a glimpse of the customs which have been going on for hundreds of years.
3. Religious Song/ Music
Songs sung in Front of God . Praying to God through songs, praises.
